Alamo says he’ll testify
Tony Alamo told reporters this morning he will testify later this week in his criminal trial.
“They’ve already lost the battle,” Alamo said. “They accused me of pornography and they found none … I’ve already won.”
Alamo also said the government is coming up with new charges against him.
The government will rest its case today and the defense will begin telling its side of the story.
Alamo is facing a 10-count federal indictment accusing him of bringing young girls across state lines for sex.
If convicted, he could spend the rest of his life in prison.
