Alleged victim testifies in Alamo trial
A 14-year-old girl exchanged wedding vows with Tony Alamo while he was an inmate in Texarkana’s Federal Correctional Institution, according to Thursday morning testimony in his trial.
The witness is now 25 but testified she and Alamo exchanged wedding vows in the FCI waiting area.
Her marriage with Alamo was consummated on July 17, 1998, a date she wrote down in her Bible afterwards, she testified.
In the mid-to-late-’90s, Alamo was serving time in FCI on federal tax evasion charges.
